Bible Classes
Adult Sunday Morning Bible Class at 10:00 am • The class is led by Jim Essig. We are studying the book of Acts. Classes are in the Music Room during our 10:00 am Education Hour, between 9 am & 11 am worship.
SUNDAY SCHOOL FOR AGE 4 – GRADE 5: Heart of God • This year, our Sunday School will be digging into the “Heart of God.” Our volunteers will help children understand God’s attributes through Bible stories, crafts, games and more. Each week the children will learn about who God is and how we can follow Him. *NEW! Youth Summer Bible Class – 10:00am • This summer youth bible class will be held at McDonald’s (next to the church) for breakfast and bible study. They will be looking at what the bible says about serving him as a teen and having bible-based discussions. Be sure to have the bible app downloaded on to your phone!
The Mid-week Bible Class is taking a break for this summer through the month of June to mid-July.

Summer Office Hours The church office will close at noon on Fridays during June and July. If you need campus access on Friday afternoon, please call ahead to make special arrangements.

Save the Date: Annual Back-to-School Event on Saturday, August 3 at 9am Prince of Peace/Príncipe de Paz will again host its annual Back-to-School event that serves upwards of 800 people from our community. If you would like to contribute towards this event, you can donate online, mail to the church, or drop it off at the church office. Let’s Help Those in Need! Medicine Donations Needed Deaconess Ligia is requesting donations for medicine: high blood pressure medicine, diabetic medicine, respiratory medicine and adult diapers, etc. All types are greatly appreciated. They would be given to those in need of it. Donations can be made at the church office. Thank you!

PoP Kids is Here! Pool Party Today at Dover Shores at 2:30pmPoP/PdP has started a NEW club for kids and families. PoP Kids is an intentional effort to do fun things with families to help them connect with other young families. Some of our activities will be spiritual in nature and some will be “just for fun”. We are hoping to create a fun and encouraging environment for kids and their families to grow in faith and in relationship with each other. So of course, we must follow SCUBA up with a Pool Party! Amissions is $4.26 per person (1400 Gaston Foster Road in Orlando – a few blocks away from PoP)

Church/Preschool Offices Closed Thursday, July 4 – Independence Day The church and preschool offices will be closed for Independence Day a federal holiday in the United States commemorating the Declaration of Independence, which was ratified by the Second Continental Congress on July 4, 1776, establishing the United States of America.

Compassion Project – Donations Needed! We are seeking the following items: AA and AAA batteries; men’s socks (white or black), and toothbrushes. All items can be dropped off in the church office, and they will be delivered to the Samaritan Resource Center. Thank you for helping those in need.

Sunday, June 30th- McDonald’s Meeting at 10:00 am; HS/MS Youth Night at 6:00pm – Youth Night runs from 6:00-7:30 in the Family Life Center and generally consists of some games and activities and a short devotion. It includes a snack and some fun time spent with friends – old and new. It is FREE
Sunday July 7- McDonald’s Meeting at 10:00 am; Volunteer with PoP Kids Craft Event 3:00-5:00pm – We will again be inviting families to come and enjoy some fun with us- this time around a bunch of fun craft projects planned by our Sunday School staff. We will have some snacks and just enjoy the activities. I am looking for youth to assit the kids, similar to how we did at SCUBA stations. Wear your PoP Kids shirt!Sunday, July 14- McDonalds’s Meeting at 10:00am; Off site “Fun Event” TBD in afternoon/evening – Our offsite activity is still coming together. I hope to have details out in next week’s Youth email
