Pastor Ken Green

Rev. Ken Green

Senior Pastor

Pastor Ken Green, fondly referred to as “PK” by members of Prince of Peace Orlando, has been serving as Senior Pastor since November 2013. Born and raised in Indiana, he carried the charm and warmth of the midwest with him through his journey of faith, which led him to study in Ann Arbor, Michigan and St. Louis, Missouri. Prior to his call to Prince of Peace, Pastor Ken served in Springfield, Virginia (2003-2013); Delray Beach, Florida (1994-2003); and Stuart, Florida (1992-1993). His life’s work is rooted in the principle found in Luke 11:28, “[Jesus] replied, ‘Blessed rather are those who hear the word of God and obey it.'”

Throughout his pastoral journey, Pastor Ken has carried with him a passion to ignite the power of God in people’s lives. He is committed to connecting individuals with Jesus Christ, guiding them through life’s challenging moments, and allowing them to experience God’s grace in transformative ways. He carries a deep belief that God’s work is not restricted to the church walls, but manifests wherever the people of the Living God are found. Pastor Ken cherishes the miraculous simplicity and profound depth of how God works through each of us, as long as we are available to Him.

In addition to nurturing spiritual growth, Pastor Ken finds joy in helping people discover and connect with the unique gifts God has endowed upon them. He finds a deep sense of satisfaction in witnessing God’s work through these gifts. His stewardship is not only centered around preaching but also about inspiring individuals to utilize their God-given talents in service to their communities.

Despite his numerous pastoral responsibilities, Pastor Ken’s primary source of joy lies within his own family. He is a proud father of five children—two boys and three girls. His wife, Peg, whom he has been married to for over 33 years, remains his greatest support. Pastor Ken considers himself blessed to have his wife and children, describing them as the best things that have happened to him in this life.

Pastor Ken Green’s service at Prince of Peace Orlando embodies his enduring dedication to his faith, his community, and his family. His ongoing commitment and profound faith continue to serve as an inspiration for all those he encounters. His passionate pursuit of helping people experience God’s grace and discover their unique gifts promises a thriving and engaged community at Prince of Peace Orlando.

Pastor Adolfo Borges

Rev. Adolfo Borges

Associate Pastor

Pastor Adolfo Borges has served at Prince of Peace/Príncipe de Paz since 2005. He was born in Nicaragua and raised in Costa Rica, where most of his family still resides. Adolfo graduated from seminary in Guatemala City in 1990 and, before coming to Orlando, served churches in Costa Rica and Guatemala. During these 30+ years of ministry, Adolfo has served the Lord and His people as a pastor and theological educator. He met his wife, Deaconess Ligia, while in seminary, and they married in 1988. They have three wonderful young adult children: Ligia, Samuel, and Moses.

Adolfo was not raised in a Christian home but first heard of Jesus in his late teenage years. Once he heard about Jesus and His extraordinary love for sinners, he could not but commit to following Him. Adolfo fell in love with the Bible and started to read it study it right away. He recalls going to a Christian library, loaning several books about the Bible—with no reference of authors or titles—and reading them all voraciously! It has been one of his greatest delights to dedicate his life to the study and meditation of the Scriptures and share its message, the gospel of salvation, with those he has been called to serve.
