SUMMARY:Ministry Anniversaries Celebration
DESCRIPTION:October is Clergy Appreciation Month\, and at Prince of Peace\, we have the special opportunity to celebrate three remarkable anniversaries. Through the dedication and leadership of our Servant Leaders\, the Lord has provided 55 years of effective and faithful ministry. We have been truly blessed by their wisdom\, guidance\, and love! \n\nRev. Ken Green is celebrating 30 years of ministry as an ordained minister in the LCMS\nRev. Adolfo Borges is celebrating 20 years of ministry at Prince of Peace/Príncipe de Paz\nDCE Eric Gerken is celebrating 5 years of ministry at Prince of Peace/Príncipe de Paz\n\nJoin us for a catered banquet on Saturday\, October 19\, featuring guest speakers\, music\, videos\, and a presentation of gifts to honor our pastors and DCE. The evening will begin with a reception at 5:30 PM\, followed by dinner at 6:00 PM. Please RSVP for the banquet by Sunday\, October 13—click here to RSVP online. \nThe celebration will continue during our regularly scheduled Sunday worship services on October 20\, where we will welcome special guest preachers: \n\nThe Rev. Scott Gress will be the preacher for the 9:00 and 11:00 a.m. English worship services.\nThe Rev. Dr. Leopoldo A. Sanchez will preach at the 11:00 a.m. Spanish worship service.\n\nThis weekend-long celebration is a chance for us to express our gratitude and give heartfelt encouragement to our pastors and DCE Eric Gerken\, along with their families. It will be a time of joy and thanksgiving for their continued ministry among us at Prince of Peace/Príncipe de Paz. \n\nHow You Can Help\nWe invite every member of our congregation to make a special monetary gift to ensure we have adequate funding for the banquet and meaningful gifts for Pastor Green\, Pastor Borges\, and DCE Gerken.
