Stellar rockets kids on an out-of-this-world adventure that’s light years of faith-building fun. It is going to be a HUGE week! \nVBS will be June 12-16 from 9:00 am-12:15 pm daily. We have 2 “tracks”—one for Preschool/VPK kids (children must be potty trained) and an Elementary track for kids who have finished Kindergarten–5th grade. As always\, VBS is a free program for our church\, preschool\, and neighborhood. \nAdvance registration is required so we can make sure we have enough supplies. We will close registration when all of the spots are taken. Your child will not want to miss out!

During the 5 days of the Gathering\, youth spend time together in God’s Word\, worship\, service\, and fellowship with others from across the synod. \nTo help you decide if this amazing event is for you\, we’re hosting an informational meeting from on Sunday\, September 8\, from 5:00 to 6:00 p.m. for eligible students and their parents. DESCRIPTION:Join us on Sunday\, March 2\, from 3:00-5:00 p.m. for an afternoon of fun at Capehart Park! We’ve reserved a pavilion for families with preschool and elementary-aged kids to gather for a fantastic day out. The kids will love the park’s awesome playground and splash pad (weather permitting)\, along with exciting group games and plenty of space to run and play. \nPlease note that this is a family event\, so each child will need an adult to stay with them for supervision. Come enjoy a great day at the park with us \n\nAbout PoP Kids\nIntroducing PoP Kids\, where fun and faith come together! Our club is all about helping kids and families connect through exciting\, family-friendly activities. SUMMARY:First Communion Workshop
DESCRIPTION:Join us for our First Communion Instruction class that is for children around the 3rd grade or older\, usually around ages 8-10\, on\, Saturday\, March 29 at 8am. There will be instruction in both English and Spanish for children wishing to take First Communion. Prior to receiving First Communion\, children usually attend classes that teach the basics of the sacrament\, including its meaning\, the presence of Christ in the elements (bread and wine)\, and the importance of repentance and faith. \nThe First Communion is often celebrated during a special church service\, in this case\, children who attend English services will take their First Communion the next day\, Sunday\, March 30. While students who attend our Spanish service will receive their First Communion on Sunday\, April 6th. \nAdvance registration is required. DESCRIPTION:Calling all pizza lovers and supporters of the Prince of Peace Youth! Join us every second Tuesday of the month for Youth Spirit Night at Broadway Ristorante & Pizzeria. Enjoy a delicious meal with friends and family\, and support our youth ministry in the process! \nHow it works:\nFrom 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM\, Broadway will donate a percentage of each sale to support Prince of Peace Youth—just mention us when you order! Whether you choose to dine in or carry out\, your meal helps raise funds for youth events\, trips\, and ministry activities. \nBonus Fun:\nTuesdays at Broadway are also Trivia Night! While trivia isn’t affiliated with our youth ministry\, it’s a great way to add some extra fun to your evening if you dine in. Test your knowledge and maybe even win some prizes! \nThis is a great chance for our church community to come together\, enjoy some tasty food\, and make a positive impact on our youth ministry.
