DESCRIPTION:The Prince of Peace Lutheran Church Food Pantry is located in the Bickel Building on the east side of the church property (enter from Curry Ford Road). The pantry provides groceries to over 300 families from Orange County each month. Families are provided food amounts based on the number of persons in the family. Distributions typically occur on the fourth Saturday of the month; see the exact dates below. No appointment is necessary. Adolfo Borges is celebrating 20 years of ministry at Prince of Peace/Príncipe de Paz\nDCE Eric Gerken is celebrating 5 years of ministry at Prince of Peace/Príncipe de Paz\n\nJoin us for a catered banquet on Saturday\, October 19\, featuring guest speakers\, music\, videos\, and a presentation of gifts to honor our pastors and DCE. The evening will begin with a reception at 5:30 PM\, followed by dinner at 6:00 PM. SUMMARY:SCUBA Vacation Bible Camp
DESCRIPTION:Get ready for an unforgettable underwater adventure at our SCUBA Vacation Bible Camp (VBC)\, happening June 10-14\, 2024\, from 9 a.m. to 12:15 p.m.! This free event is perfectly designed for young explorers\, ages 4 through rising 6th graders\, offering them a unique blend of fun\, learning\, and faith development. \nOur SCUBA VBC isn’t just any ordinary camp. It’s a deep dive into a world of creativity and exploration\, where children will engage in a variety of activities like crafts\, games\, science projects\, music\, and skits\, all woven together with creative Bible lessons. These activities are specially curated to help children discover that Jesus wants a personal relationship with them and to anchor their hearts in His Word. Despite the ocean’s vastness\, our camp space is limited\, so be sure to register your adventurers early! \nWe believe in teaching children the value of giving and sharing God’s love. That’s why\, during our camp\, we will be collecting daily offerings to support Mission Haiti\, aiming to provide quality Christian education to underprivileged children. It’s a wonderful way for kids to learn about generosity and the impact they can make in the world. \nEvery day at SCUBA camp kicks off with an exciting rally in our Family Life Center\, creating an energizing start to a day full of faith and fun. Children will then navigate through the day in smaller groups\, ensuring personal attention and a safer environment as they rotate through the engaging stations we’ve set up. SUMMARY:Pentecost Combined Worship
DESCRIPTION:Join us on Sunday\, May 19\, at 10:30 a.m. in the Sanctuary for a special Pentecost Combined Worship Service at Prince of Peace Orlando. This unique service brings together all three of our worshiping communities for a celebration in English and Spanish. Experience uplifting music provided by the parish choir\, praise band\, and Coro; a special bilingual sermon; and partake of Holy Communion as we celebrate the Day of Pentecost. Please note\, there will be no 8 a.m. or 11 a.m. worship services this day.  \nFollowing the service\, everyone is invited to the Family Life Center for a potluck lunch at 12:00 p.m. Please bring a dish to share based on your last name: \n\nA-L: Dessert\nM-Q: Side dish or salad\nR-Z: Main dish\n\nAfter the meal\, we will hold a Congregational Meeting to celebrate God’s work among us and conduct the Election of Board of Directors Members.
