DESCRIPTION:The National Youth Gathering in New Orleans in Summer 2025 promises to be an incredible adventure for all eligible students\, from current 8th graders to high school seniors. This is a chance to be part of something truly special\, and you won’t want to miss it! \nHeld every 3 years since 1980\, the LCMS Youth Gathering provides thousands of youth and adults the opportunity to come together as a community of God’s people to learn more about Jesus Christ\, the Christian faith\, and their Lutheran identity. During the 5 days of the Gathering\, youth spend time together in God’s Word\, worship\, service\, and fellowship with others from across the synod. \nTo help you decide if this amazing event is for you\, we’re hosting an informational meeting from on Sunday\, September 8\, from 5:00 to 6:00 p.m. for eligible students and their parents. We’ll dive into all the details\, including: \n\nWhat is the National Youth Gathering?\nWhy should you be excited to go?\nWhat other fun activities will we do in New Orleans?\nHow will we get there?\nWhat is the cost involved?\n\nJoin us to have these questions and more answered as we gear up for this incredible journey.
