Today: “Stories of Searching” • Genesis 3:8-15; 2 Corinthians 4:13-5:1; Mark 3:20-35 • We live in a world filled with stories of searching: stories of people searching for love and companionship; people searching for significance and purpose; people searching for peace and joy. Today God’s Word engages us with the story of our searching God. Jesus is seeking to hold us close, even when we’ve tried to run and hide from Him. He seeks to fill our lives with meaning and power. Jesus seeks to protect us from all evil and fill our lives with His peace. And He does more than just search—we have been found by Him and He has delivered on all of His promises to us. Do you know someone who is searching for something? Help them find the God who takes us from lost to found.
