Today: “Jesus, the Righteous King” • Ezekiel 34:11–16, 20–24; Psalm 95:1–7; 1 Corinthians 15:20–28; Matthew 25:31–46 • This Sunday is Christ the King Sunday. We celebrate Christ’s reign among us. As the creator of the universe and ruler of all, it is no small thing that He has called us to be His people and placed us under His reign. And yet, there are so many circumstances in this world where—by appearances only—it might not seem like Jesus in on the throne. Disasters, violence, even events in our own lives can leave us asking, “Is the Lord really in charge?” God’s Word teaches us that Jesus is the Righteous King, the one who stands for Justice. How ought we live as those who act justly and love mercy and to walk humbly with you as our God.

Bible Classes
Adult Sunday Morning Bible Class at 10:00 am • The class is led by Jim Essig. We are studying the book of Ephesians. Classes are in the Music Room during our 10:00 am Education Hour, between the 9 am & 11 am worship.
SUNDAY SCHOOL FOR AGE 4 – GRADE 5: Heart of God • This year, our Sunday School will be digging into the “Heart of God.” Our volunteers will help children understand God’s attributes through Bible stories, crafts, games and more. Each week the children will learn about who God is and how we can follow Him. YOUTH SUNDAY BIBLE CLASS (6th-12th) NEW- Pray Like Jesus Prayed – We are looking at the big events in Jesus’ life- and the prayers he prayed about them. What can we learn from Jesus’ prayers to help us pray today. This will be a fun, interactive discussion. We meet in the Church Office Conference Room from 10:00-10:45 each Sunday.
The Mid-week Bible Class for Adults • Wednesday Mornings 9:30am – 10:30am in the Board Room. Our topic is looking at Scriptures for the upcoming Sunday’s theme. Led by Pastor Ken.
Campus Christmas Decorating – December 2, 8:30am • Join with others in the PoP/PdeP family to spruce up the campus with Christmas Spirit for Advent and making spirits bright for the birth of Jesus. All helping hands are needed to assemble Christmas trees, hanging up wreaths and garland.
Christmas Trivia Fu(n)draiser – Hosted by the Youth • December 2 at 3pm • Save the date for this friendly competition over 3 rounds of Christmas related trivia songs, movies, history, and traditions. Admission is $20/person. Come as a team or form a team when you get here. Prizes for the winners. Christmas treats available for refreshments.
