Week of October 19, 2025

Today: “Blessed in Prayer” • Scripture Readings: Genesis 32:22-30; 2 Timothy 3:14-4:5; Luke 18:1-8 Have you ever wished for a direct connection with someone who can truly fix things? We are already blessed with that gift in prayer—a living connection with the God who hears, strengthens, and blesses His people. Jacob wrestled with God through the night and would not let go until he received a blessing. Jesus Himself prayed to His Father and wrestled in the Garden as He prepared to lay down His life for the world. God always meets us where we are, and through prayer He shapes our hearts to be steadfast and true—mirroring His own heart of love and faithfulness.
About this Series: “Blessed” • Blessed is not what we achieve, earn, or hold—it’s who we are in Christ. Out of that identity, we live as a blessing in the world.

Pastor Ken is in Indiana today celebrating the 75th anniversary of St. James Lutheran Church in Marion—the congregation where he was confirmed and nurtured in faith. It was there that Jesus shaped PK’s walk with Him and prepared him for a life of ministry. We are grateful to Pastor Borges for sharing his gifts and preaching at all three services today.
