Jesus Wants to be #1

There is a subtle irony to note that #2 on our list of “10 Things You Gotta Know,” we come face to face with the truth that “Jesus Wants to Be #1.” It probably doesn't get any more basic than this. How often, though, do we find that Jesus has slipped out of that #1 slot in our lives and has dropped down on the lists of our priorities? Jesus’ call to us is to take up our cross and follow Him. The “gracious irony” is that Jesus made you and me #1 when He took up His cross in love; He has redeemed us and given us a life like no other.
