PoP Youth

PoP Youth is an intentional effort to help Middle and High School students grow in faith through fellowship, educational, and service opportunities. Students share Jesus with their peers as they learn to follow him for a lifetime.

Every Sunday – Youth Bible Class- 10:00-10:50

Middle School Students -meet in the Conference Room in the Church Office.

The class is led by volunteers John and Kristen Buchbach and they have a lot of fun together while helping students get more familiar with God’s Word. This growing group of students would love to add more friends as they explore the Bible. If you have not had your 6th-8th grader try it out yet, this Sunday would be a GREAT time to start.

High School Students – Meet at McDonalds

This class is led by Eric Gerken. It is up to you whether you want to grab a drink or some breakfast. We gather around one of the larger tables and have a Bible-based discussion. Sometimes it is an expansion of the Scripture lessons at church that day while other times we discuss current events in the light of God’s Word. It is always lively and thought provoking. We would love to see a few more people check it out this Sunday!

Upcoming Events

Sunday, August 16, 6:00 – 7:30 p.m. –

Middle School and High School students will gather int he Family Life Center for games, snacks and time in Scripture with friends. We will break out the Gaga Ball Pit and also have some activities to help with getting to know one another as we have several new or newer attendees.

No Youth Events/ Youth Bible Studies WILL meet on Sunday morning

Friday, September 4-Saturday, September 5 – ALL YOUTH LOCK IN!

9:00 p.m. – 7:30 a.m.

We will meet in the Family Life Center for an ALL NIGHT Youth event! We will do a variety of activities including many of your favorite Youth games ( Yes- Including late night GORGON!) . We will have pizza brought in and ask all of the students who attend to also bring snacks to share. Drinks will be provided.

We will start at 9:00 pm and have activities until around 3:00-3:30am. At that point we will get out the sleeping bags, throw a movie up on the big screen and turn it into a sleepover. At around 6:30 am, I will wake everyone up for one last activity and cleanup before we send everyone home at 7:30 am.

Sunday, September 6 – No Youth Night- Youth Bible Classes WILL meet at 10:00 am

Sunday, September 13– Middle School ONLY Youth Night -6:00-7:30 pm

Sunday, September 20^th – High School ONLY Youth Night – 6:00-7:30pm

Sunday, September 27th– TBD- All Youth Activity
