CloseThe Disciples are challenged—perhaps even shocked—to hear Jesus’ words, “Children, how hard it is to enter the kingdom of God!” With gaping mouths the Disciples grapple with who can then be saved, and Jesus fills their ears with even more amazing words, words of Gospel promise: All things are possible with God. The reality for the twelve is that they have given up all to follow Jesus. Would we do the same—are we able to cast everything into the hands of God to trust Him completely that all things in our lives would come under Jesus’ reign? Can we truly believe that God will never fail His children, confident that through His grace and love He will provide abundantly for all our needs? Can you recall a time when have experienced the provision of the Lord at a point when other things in life were coming unglued? What makes it difficult for you to believe that all things are possible for God? In what ways could you encourage and build up the faith of others when they need God to be their all-in-all?
