Message: “A Dad’s Desire” from Rev. Ken Green

It’s not likely that “ be weak” is the first thing to come to mind when talking about “ How to change the world.” But that phrase highlights the humility that comes from acknowledging God’s grace and favor, that it is freely given to those who don’t deserve it (read: freely given to us). The cross turns our eyes toward Jesus to see in Him the power of God to change a life and transform the world. And as our lives are transformed by God’s power in Christ, it may just become evident to others that God is at work in those who “ act justly and love mercy and to walk humbly with their God.” In what ways does your life reflect God’s love and mercy? Do you have a story of how knowing Jesus has changed your world?
