Message: “A Dad’s Desire” from Rev. Ken Green

Jesus exhibited a deep love for all people throughout His earthly ministry. It’s in our DNA, to love like Jesus did, even (or especially) unrestrained love for the “least of these.” This love for the least has been a part of our DNA here at Prince of Peace/Príncipe de Paz for years. As we celebrate that as evidence God’s work in and among us, Jesus’ words invite us to pause and reflect: When we see those in need, are we seeing Jesus in that person? How willing are we to go out our way to get to know the person behind the need, to be the “heart, hands, and feet of Jesus” for them? Will they recognize Christ in us? Jesus, help us to go beyond seeing problems in order to see people. Thank you for your boundless love. Help us to live that love in every interaction. Amen.
