Christ the King Sunday
Today: “Jesus, the Lamb Who Reigns” • Jeremiah 23:2-6; Colossians 1:13-20; Luke 23:35-43; Revelation 5:12 • On this Christ the King Sunday, we proclaim a ruler unlike any other. Jesus reigns not from a throne of power, but from a cross of love. Even as He is crucified, a thief recognizes His kingship and prays, “Remember me when You come into Your kingdom.” In that moment, we see clearly that Christ reigns through sacrifice. He is both King and Lamb—the One who gave His life for the world and now reigns over all things. As we bring our commitments before Him, we do so in gratitude and trust, declaring with joy: Worthy is the Lamb who was slain.
