Today: “RENEWall: Renew our Humility” • Readings: Mark 9:14-29, Isaiah 50:4-10, James 3:1-12 • Jesus demonstrated to His followers the nature of true humility and showed the way greatness is measured in the kingdom of God. Will we allow Him to renew us so we would follow in His ways?

Special: Lord Jesus, as true God and true man, You showed us how to walk humbly before our God. Renew in us hands that seek to serve all and hearts that welcome the least. • Be with President Biden, members of Congress, and the Supreme Court, as well as all state and local leaders. • Lord, watch over and keep our first responders safe. As we draw closer to Election Day, frustrate the plans of any who seek to do harm to the candidates. Grant wisdom to the citizens of this nation as we consider the choices we make as we vote. Help us to treasure our freedoms in this nation: the freedom to worship You according to Your word, the freedom to speak of Your love for all people, and the right to vote. Above all, remind us that we are first and foremost Citizens of Heaven through all Christ has done for us.
Prayers for those in the military or deployed: We pray for those who serve our nation in the armed services and for those who are deployed, especially those connected with our PoP/PdeP family: Jake Allison, Zachary Carbonell, Kyle Holysz, Matthew Rojas, Meghan Rojas, Amanda S, Greg S, Geoffrey
Preschool Prayers—Class of the Month: This month we pray for our friends in the Caterpillars Class (infants) – Ms. Melissa, Ms. Zulay, Noah and Killian. We ask the Lord to keep these little ones in His constant care and to pour out His blessings upon their families.
We invite you to pray for our leaders, including our Board of Directors. We give thanks for and ask the Lord to guid: Paul Browder, Nina Cavali-Rojas (Vice Chair), Jason Hoge (Treasurer), Brooke McKinnon (Secretary), Camille Neville, Celso Rivera, Tony Steinbronn, Maria Vazquez, Silquia Velez, Tom Zehnder (Chair)
