TODAY: “Worship: It’s a Joy Thing” • Psalm 95:1-7; Hebrews 12:1-2; John 10:7-18 • “Come, let us sing for joy to the Lord; let us shout aloud to the Rock of our salvation. Let us come before him with thanksgiving and extol him with music and song” (Psalm 95:1–2). This passage from Psalm 95 beautifully describes the worship services at Prince of Peace / Príncipe de Paz. There is joyful shouting, uplifting music, heartfelt singing, and thanksgiving to God. But above all, there is joy. Even in difficult times, gathering together to sing, praise, and give thanks lifts our spirits and reminds us of God’s presence. He is our Rock when life feels uncertain and unstable, and in worship we are strengthened by His steadfast love and faithfulness.
Our Guest Preacher this morning is Pastor Eric Sahlberg, Executive Director for Missions and Outreach for the Florida-Georgia District (LCMS). He and his wife, Amy, are also members of Prince of Peace. | Pastor Ken and his family are at a family reunion hosted by his dad, who just celebrated his 82nd birthday last week.
Our Fall Theme: “From You, For You” Our theme draws upon a prayer by King David in the Old Testament: “Everything comes from You, and we have given You only what comes from Your hand.” (1 Chronicles 29:14) We join together on a journey of Worship, Service, and Giving to discover how God can work to bless others through what He has given us. We all have a part! Sunday, September 27 – special emphasis as we focus on worship:
“Each One Reach One: Friendship Sunday” • Ask yourself, “Who do I know who needs to be filled with more joy, more hope, more peace?” It could be a friend, family member, someone from the gym, a neighbor, or a coworker. (It could even be an Uber driver!) Jot down their name and pray for that person daily. As we get ready for September 27, what might happen if God gave each of us the courage to invite one person to worship with us that day? Ask God to prepare you to invite—and to prepare that person to respond. Everyone needs the love God gives, along with the peace and joy He desires to pour into our lives.

Sunday Nursery • 9:00am – While our 9:00am nursery is not staffed, parents are welcome to use this space with their children, providing their own supervision, and watching the livestream.

Adult Sunday Morning Bible Class at 10:00 am • The class is led by Jim Essig. We are studying the Book of Matthew. Classes are in the Music Room during our 10:00 am Education Hour.
SUNDAY SCHOOL FOR AGE 4 – GRADE 5: Kingdom Quest • Kingdom Quest is a Bible overview curriculum that teaches children the core stories of the Bible and helps them see why they matter today. We help children experience God’s love through Bible stories, crafts, gamesand more., as we learn to follow Jesus.
