Walking with Jesus in Easter Joy

The Apostle Paul wrote: If only for this life we have hope in Christ, we are to be pitied more than all men. There is a powerful truth conveyed by those words, “If only for this life…” If that were all there was, each of us would ultimately be led to despair; there would be no hope, no joy. The challenges, troubles, and times of grief in this life would soon swallow us like the grave. However, the promise of Easter joy, rooted in Jesus’ Resurrection (and all His promises to raise us up!), gives us new life. The Resurrection overwrites the dead data of the grief of this corrupted creation and transforms us with a living, vibrant, and everlasting joy that originates from the very heart of God.
