TODAY: “Jesus Is Distinctive” • Scripture Readings: Luke 12:49-56; Hebrews 11:17-31, 12:1-3; Psalm 119:81-88; Jeremiah 23:23-29 • As Jesus taught the crowds, He would often grab people’s attention to draw them to recognize what God was doing in their day. Jesus, the Messiah, had come! The kingdom of God had drawn near and, in the person of Jesus, the kingdom was right there in their midst—a present reality. Today we face the same question: If God’s truth and power and love are made accessible through Jesus, how does that make us distinctive as the people who follow Him?

Coming this Fall: Worthy Is the Lamb Visitation Campaign
“Worthy is the Lamb, who was slain, to receive power and wealth and wisdom and strength and honor and glory and praise!” — Revelation 5:12
We are excited to announce the launch of our Worthy Is the Lamb campaign, beginning soon. Visitors are being trained to connect with Prince of Peace families with a personal visit, whether that be in a home, over coffee, or a quiet place at church. Worthy Is the Lamb is a spiritual invitation to grow in faith, deepen our relationships, and expand God’s kingdom together as people meet for prayer and conversation, celebrating God’s work among us, and praying for the future. Please keep this initiative in your prayers.
