Let’s Help Those in Need! Medicine Donations Needed • Deaconess Ligia is requesting donations for medicine/medical supplies that will be sent to organizations serving those in need in Central and South America. All donations were greatly appreciated and could be dropped off at the church office. The types of medicines needed were high blood pressure medicine, diabetic medicine, respiratory medicine, and adult diapers, etc. If you have any questions, please contact Ligia via email. | ligia.borges@poporlando.com
Compassion Project – Donations Needed! • We are seeking the following items: AA and AAA batteries; men’s socks (white or black), and toothbrushes. All items can be dropped off in the church office, and they will be delivered to the Samaritan Resource Center. Thank you for helping those in need.
Beware: Scammers May Target Church Members • A “public service announcement” and reminder because we are aware of scams that have targeted church goers nationally, both by email and text message. Typically, the scammer will pose as a pastor or a staff member, asking that you respond urgently. Ultimately, they ask for gift cards or money so they might “discretely” help someone with a need. Please do not respond to those emails or text messages; they are not from the pastors or staff members. Remember, Pastor Ken, Pastor Adolfo and the staff will never send an “urgent” message pressuring you to “discretely” convey money, gift cards, or share any personal information.
Volunteers Needed! Help Serve the Lord • We are looking for volunteers that are willing to help serve the Lord by helping with ushering, communion assistant, projection, live stream, altar guild and transportation. If you are willing to help in any way, please contact Adriana at (407)277-3945 for more information. | adriana.alas@poporlando.com
