TODAY: “Heavenly Hospitality: Getting to Know You” • Scripture Readings: Luke 10:38-42; Psalm 27; Colossians 1:21-29 • God has designed His Church to be a place of Heavenly Hospitality—a community where love and welcome are practiced like nowhere else. Through Jesus, the Father has received us and welcomed us into His family of faith. By the power of the Holy Spirit, we are being built into a community rooted in Christ’s love, devoted to one another, and eager to welcome others into God’s gracious embrace. Come discover how practicing heavenly hospitality in our homes, neighborhoods, and church family becomes a powerful witness to God’s heart for all people.

Thank you from the Dobbins Family:
We just wanted to take a minute to say thank you to everyone for the love, concern, care and support you have shown to our family as we foster two little sisters that attend preschool here at Prince of Peace. These two little girls, one being 2 years old and the other being just 3 months old, were in a situation where they were suddenly and without any warning or notice, going to have to be separated and in different parts of the state as they entered Florida’s foster care system. Hoping for a less traumatic experience for the girls and their family, Shawn and I decided to open our home to the girls first and figure out the details second. We know God is in control. We just want to say that the support we have received from this wonderful congregation has really been incredible. It is with a deep amount of respect and gratitude that we say thank you to everyone for the all the donations for the girls. It is clearly evident that they are loved and cared for by their church family as things in their own family are being sorted out. God’s blessings to you and thank you so very much, – Shawn and Anne Dobbins
If you wish to help • The need is great with many unplanned costs. By giving to the Pastors’ Discretionary Fund (memo: FOSTER) you can help support the care for these little girls. You may also donate Walmart gift cards by dropping them at the church office.
