“Easter: Love and Promises” • John 14:15-27; Acts 17:16-31; 1 Peter 3:13-22 • In a world filled with uncertainty, anxiety, and broken promises, Jesus speaks words of comfort and assurance to His disciples on the night before the cross. He promises that those who love Him will not be left alone. The Father will send the Holy Spirit—the Spirit of Truth—to teach, guide, and remind them of all that Jesus has said. Jesus also promises His presence and a peace unlike anything the world can give. The risen Lord still comes to His people today: speaking peace into troubled hearts, strengthening us through His Word, and leading us to live faithfully in His love.
