Week of September 14, 2025

TODAY: “Our God of Abundant Grace” • Scripture Readings: Ezekiel 34:11-24; 1 Timothy 1:12-17; Luke 15:1-10 Our God is a God of abundant grace—grace that seeks, saves, and rejoices. Jesus tells of a shepherd who leaves the ninety-nine to find one lost sheep, and of a woman who searches diligently until she finds her lost coin. Each story ends not with scolding, but with rejoicing. Paul, too, celebrates that “the grace of our Lord overflowed for me” (1 Tim. 1:14), though he had once been the chief of sinners. God’s grace is not stingy or reluctant—it overflows, reaching out to the lost, the broken, the undeserving, and drawing them home. That’s the kind of grace we live in, and the grace we share.

Lord, have mercy. Christ, have mercy. Lord, have mercy. Thwart those with evil intent or hatred in their hearts, and make us instruments of Your peace. • Watch over our first responders and keep them safe.

Coming this Fall: Worthy Is the Lamb Visitation Campaign
“Worthy is the Lamb, who was slain, to receive power and wealth and wisdom and strength and honor and glory and praise!” — Revelation 5:12

PRAYER FOR VISITATION TEAMS: God bless these servants of the Lamb as they engage people in conversation and prayer.
The Worthy Is the Lamb campaign is about to begin. Visitors have been trained to connect with Prince of Peace families with a personal visit, whether that be in a home, over coffee, or a quiet place at church. Worthy Is the Lamb is a spiritual invitation to grow in faith, deepen our relationships, and expand God’s kingdom together as people meet for prayer and conversation, celebrating God’s work among us, and praying for the future. Please keep this initiative in your prayers. Would you like to be among the first visited? Call the office at 407-277-3945 or email staff@poporlando.com. This campaign of prayer, sharing, and visitation will run through November 23, Christ the King Sunday.
