Week of September 27, 2026

TODAY: Today is our “Friendship Sunday.” We believe that God has drawn each person here today so they would experience His love, His peace, and His power. The Lord Himself welcomes us into His presence as we encounter Him in His Word and Sacraments. Our prayer is that you would soak-in the gifts and blessings of God as we worship, and that He would empower you through those gifts as you serve and follow Jesus this week.

“Worship: Sacred Ground” • Exodus 3:1-6; Colossians 1:9-14; Mark 5:1-20 • The Third Commandment: Remember the Sabbath day by keeping it holy. What does this mean? We should fear and love God so that we do not despise preaching and His Word but hold it sacred and gladly hear and learn it.

The first of three commandments are about our relationship with God. The third commandment reminds us that relationships need to be nurtured. We connect to the Father, Son, and Holy Spirt in word and sacrament. Keep coming to worship as our creator and redeemer nurtures us and the Spirit restores our being from the inside out.
