Today: “Tested—and Triumphant” • Matthew 4:1-11; Genesis 3:1-21; Romans 5:12-19 • After His baptism, Jesus was led by the Spirit into the wilderness to be tested by the evil one. Hungry, alone, and under assault, Jesus stood where all others had fallen. His was not merely a private struggle; it was a battle for us. By His faithful obedience, Jesus turns the tide. This wilderness victory is one battle in a greater war that leads to the cross and the empty tomb, where Jesus defeats the evil one and breaks the power of death. Today, Jesus invites you to draw near, because He is our victorious savior. Where do you need His strength and power this week?

that if we ask anything according to his will, he hears us.” 1 John 5:14

Devotional • Once again this year we are offering a devotion available for the Prince of Peace – Príncipe de Paz community to renew us in a renewable, sustainable vision. The purpose of our 40 days of prayer is to seek God’s guidance to lead us to be faithful to His calling to be a Christ-centered, multicultural church inspired by the Holy Spirit through Word and Sacrament to engage the community with God’s grace and love.
